During 305 day 2023 I stopped by a flea market in Wynwood and stumbled upon the biggest collection of vintage Miami Goods. Edwin Cardona is the founder of Archived Miami which holds some of Miami's most cherished pieces from autographed Dan Marino cleats to deadstock 2 Live Crew T-shirts. This is a segment from a new series Play That Back is doing on style called "Respect The Texture"

Our first interview of the year, we strolled down to South Beach and hit up a venue called The Smoking Pie. Peeping the scene and not knowing what I was getting into, there happened to be a showcase going on and I just so happened to have my camera on me. There was a singer there that caught my ears and I had to pull him to the side after his performance to get a word in. This is the moment I met Brooklyn by way of Broward singer Choszn.

I spent the month of November in New York, it's been a little over year since I stepped foot in the city. I went there on a whim, I planned on going to NYC to shoot some content, but this trip was random. I checked my interview charter filled with a batch of artists and I hit up those within the closest vicinity of me.

The last person I spoke to is Veto Corli from Staten Island. Veto is a lyricist that's so cold with the flow, from the first time I heard him in 2011, his semi-raspy voice and strong delivery made him a stand out. I made the trip across the water and I got to speak to Veto about life on Staten Island, the lessons he learned from doing a bid, and his new "Rythm & Bullets" project.
