Rapper VS Content Creator w/ Manedella Eskia

Mandella Eskia

In this new age of social media, it’s challenging not to be in front of the camera, sharing your day or displaying your lifestyle. For someone like myself, who grew up with the first social platforms like AOL, Myspace, and the early, photo-less Twitter, this shift has been a struggle. Being on camera can be daunting if you're not willing to embrace the new ways society interacts.

My friend and fellow artist, Mandella Eskia, whom I’ve known since 2009 from my blog Jungle Gym Magazine, exemplifies adaptability in this ever-evolving landscape. Mandella has always been an MC; in fact, one of my first posts was an album of his with a DatPiff link. This longevity shows his dedication and evolution over the years.

One of the most challenging aspects of being an artist is finding what works, achieving success, and staying consistent. Music and technology evolve together, shaping how we consume, interact, and spend. To succeed, you must be agile enough to move with these changes. Mandella Eskia has consistently adapted and grown as an artist, using his love for comics and cartoons to connect with a new audience. By bringing nostalgia and laughter to the minds of many 80s and 90s babies, he has found a new chapter as a rapper and content creator. This passion has garnered him a newfound audience, marking the beginning of an exciting new phase in his career.
